Hello all...

I'm joining the LF CGL group as Cisco's primary representative. I'm a
member of Cisco's Open Source Platforms group. My responsibilities
include helping to define our architecture for how we use Open Source in
general and Operating Systems in particular. I've been a developer
(primarily) in the area of Operating Systems since 1982. Our interests
in the LF CGL group primarily focus on delivery of a CGL based platform
for customer use on Cisco hardware. There are likely some technology
areas that we may wish to contribute in - and I hope to identify these
as I become more familiar with the group.

Although I would like to attend the 30-November meeting in Tokyo, I will
be traveling (not far from there actually) but have commitments thru
that date (would be free for a meeting the following week). I look
forward to meeting the group at the earliest opportunity and interacting
with the group via the mail list and other working sessions.
