Patton Museum Outlines Plan to Expand (Desert Sun,11/29/2014)The General Patton Memorial Museum in Chiriaco Summit is expanding. The museum, just off Interstate 10 near Desert Center- home to numerous artifacts collected from the nearby training grounds once commanded by Gen. George S. Taking In The Sun (BLM Facebook) The desert's great temperatures give hikers ideal conditions to explore. Here, a BLM guided group explored a variety of habitats, eventually leading to a remote desert palm oasis. Answer: (D) In 2008 polar bears were listed as threatened under the U.S. endangered species at. The first animals added because of climate change. The continuing loss of sea ice in the artic puts the bears in jeopardy.
