Of course once download is complete rm wget-log otherwise future
downloads will start happening in wget-log.1 and so on.
There are probably better ways to do all of this with sourceforge but
this is what I learned over the years from direct experience.

Having investigated a little more, I realize that I have to build missing compiz plugins.
I will do that in the coming days and will add a package in the repo that will be install able with slapt-get --install <package-name>

I just checked that it works as you said in xfce in Slint, using Alt + Scroll mouse button with my current setting.
I have to find out what to add to provide the same feature with mate.

I only found option "Make text larger and easier to read". No option for magnifier.
I look for magnifier like xfce desktop has, user Super + Scroll mouse button to zoom in/out entire screen. I believe compiz has the same option.
I am not sure that we have that (yet) in Slint for MATE. If someone indicates a package name or application name or link to some source repository , I will add it.

Hi,
I managed to install slint without trouble. Now I can access Mate Desktop.
I hope someone could help me to enable magnifier. I tried enter keyboard shortcut menu and press the key listed there to toggle screen magnifier (Ctrl+Suprt+N) but nothing happened.
