I cannot change the program I am using. that is why I am asking in
general. the ssh2021b package I use to reach shellworld has an sftp
client as well.
I would actually need Linux to run that program, unless there is a DOS
port?

You have another interesting option, lftp where you can browse-and-download
from web-sites. Hope some of these help
