I've created a user configuration with spd-conf and set sound as pulse. All the tests pass. Fenrir still makes the opening sound but doesn't talk. I tried creating a system configuration with spd-conf but it causes spd-conf to crash. Something else also crashes. The Ubuntu GUI asks me to send an error report but doesn't tell me what crashed.
