I tried listening to a commercial cd I bought on the computer with cvlc. I'm using that since this is a command line environment. The syntax on videolan.org for this in the playing howto is cvlc cdda://[device]@[track] so I try cvlc cdda:///dev/sr0@1 and get cannot open input device.
