As far as I know, Firefox can't run without the gui. I understand that
somebody's working on a Firefox variant that will be able to do that, but
it's not here yet. (Somebody who knows better feel free to correct me.)

Subject: firefox without gui

Can firefox run without a gui?
Is it of any value for a text-only user?
My bank does not like edbrowse.

I have installed xvfb.
So far firefox will not run, but a few more curses may get it going.

Do I need anything besides xvfb?
