I can't help with Braille, but you could try Provox or JAWS for DOS. Both
should support the Apollo, but I'm sure JAWS does. You could also try the
ASAP and TinyTalk demos since neither are available commercially anymore.
TinyTalk I'm pretty sure doesn't support Braille. I'm almost positive that
ASAP supports the Apollo. Finally, there is Brltty for DOS, but I know
nothing about it. As I said, I don't use Braille. I use Vocal-Eyes under
dosemu and I know it has an Apollo driver, but it's commercial and still
sells for $250 USD. Sorry I don't have links for any of this, but you can
try Google or I'm sure someone else here will post links.

Sorry if being off topic, but I am searching for a screen reader for DOS
that either works with braille, Baum, Powebraille or Handytech. I's also
fine if it is just speech, and if it is, it should support an external
Apollo synthesizer.
Many thanks for any help,
Christian
