I can't help with Braille, but you could try Provox or JAWS for DOS. Both should support the Apollo, but I'm sure JAWS does. You could also try the ASAP and TinyTalk demos since neither are available commercially anymore. TinyTalk I'm pretty sure doesn't support Braille. I'm almost positive that ASAP supports the Apollo. Finally, there is Brltty for DOS, but I know nothing about it. As I said, I don't use Braille. I use Vocal-Eyes under dosemu and I know it has an Apollo driver, but it's commercial and still sells for $250 USD. Sorry I don't have links for any of this, but you can try Google or I'm sure someone else here will post links.
