I couldn't get that CD to talk either. I had a little success with their
experimental version. The volume was very low and the sound was scratchy.
I had to plug in headphones to hear it. It may be a problem with the
sound driver for this laptop. If you want to try it, look at this URL,
but remember it is experimental software that they build every day. Be
careful, and back up your data. Select the "latest" link.

Hi there,
I can't seem to get this version of Ubuntu to boot up with Orca loaded
automatically.
I've pressed f5, 3, enter and enter as per the notes, but I never do get it
loaded.
The system does load up and I can press alt f2 and then type in orca, but
then it doesn't seem to behave correctly.
Any suggestions?
Cheers,
martin
