I do not remember the card I used at HAL2001, but at CCC Camp 2003 I was using a Cisco Aironet 300 PCMCIA or some such. Really a great card. I can recommend this one. Nice cards are also all the Prism 2.5/3 based ones, those can be run in AccessPoint Mode. > Also may i ask did you go with friends? Yes, I went with friends to both occasions. It might be doable on your own if you get in contact with the organizers a few days before the event, so that someone can pick you up somewhere. But keep in mind that those events are happening on campsites with a lot of cables, tents and all sorts of stuff lying around all over the place. So if you are going on your own, you'll have to do Careful Moving(TM). -- CYa, Mario | Debian Developer <URL:http://debian.org/> | Get my public key via finger mlang@xxxxxxxxxxxxx | 1024D/7FC1A0854909BCCDBE6C102DDFFC022A6B113E44 _______________________________________________ Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list
