Shopping is largely closed to linux computers and will remain so until such time that netscape on linux can be remotely controlled from the text console. Efforts exist for making parts of x11 accessible but largely they're not ready for prime time and the only one that's the closest is gnopernicus. If you go with linux you'll like the stability, and if you already have a windows install cd what you might consider trying is a linux only machine and buy or have sent with the machine a linux reinstallation disk. Then if you have problems with linux, windows will happily remove it for you and install itself on your disk. If you want options open for both, have windows only given 50% of the partition space and reserve the rest for linux which could be installed after windows and set up into a dual boot situation. -- -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.12 GIT d- s+:+ a+ C++ UL P+ L+++ E+ W-- N+ o+ K- w--- O-- M-- V PS++ PE Y+ PGP t+ 5++ X-- R* tv- b++ DI D--- G- e++ h r-- y* ------END GEEK CODE BLOCK------ _______________________________________________ Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list
