Hi Janina and all, I did ask BookShare about O'Riely titles. Here is the text of the reply I received: > Please visit this page on Bookshare.org's site for an explanation of how the > program works: http://www.bookshare.org/oreilly > Please visit this page on O'Reilly's website for a list of books that are > available through Bookshare.org: http://www.oreilly.com/catalog > Regards, > Gustavo Galindo > Bookshare.org Site Administrator ** Travis Roth www.TravisRoth.com travis@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: blinux-list-admin@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:blinux-list-admin@xxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Janina Sajka Sent: Sunday, June 08, 2003 9:44 PM To: blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Access to TECH Books Online Debbie Pomerance writes: > > I had checked out Bookshare a while back - and based on this I looked at > their web site again. I had the same experience, which is why I suggested their O'Reily titles may not yet be in the catalog. I do know that they have access to all the O'Reily Safari titles. And, they have them in pristine XML, so they'll be very high quality copies at BookShare. I would suggest writing them to find out how to get at them. If you do, please let us all know what they say. -- Janina Sajka, Director Technology Research and Development Governmental Relations Group American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) Email: janina@xxxxxxx Phone: (202) 408-8175 _______________________________________________ Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list _______________________________________________ Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list
