Hello, I'm trying to do a telnet install of rh9. I've done this before in rh8, but the procedure appears to have been changed for 9. If i boot from CD, then at the prompt do: text telnet it fires up. I'll get to my network card in a minute. If however i use the floppies, boot.img and pcmciadb.img, because in this instance i can't use a boot rom, i enter the same thing: text telnet i'm never asked for the drivers disk, it goes right in to the install. Also, on my network card, it has media autodetection difficulties so i have to put a parameter in /etc/pcmcia/network.opts, think that's the file: module "xirc2ps_cs" opts "if_port=4" what i was wondering is would it be possible to pass the if_port=4 to the nic also on the commandline? Suggestions welcome. Thanks. Dave. ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! Surf the web up to FIVE TIMES FASTER!
