well, the subject line says it all.
basically when I go to test the outloud speech server, I get this error.

any suggestions in this area would be greatly appreciated.
I can't compile flite to use eflite because my compiler dies after trying
to build one of the object files. I might look at trying to get the
doubletalk pc to work with emacspeak.
