Hello there. I am also in search of a subnotebook to run linux. What kind of machine are you using? Regards. I have yet to see a portable speech synth which is small, and works under Linux. AFAIK, none of the available pcmcia solutions work. I personally use viavoice+emacspeak on my laptop. No external stuff, just a soundcard, and my builtin speakers. Since I have a subnotebook, I get all this below 1 kilogram of weight. Just my 2 cents. -- CYa, Mario | Debian Developer <URL:http://debian.org/> | Get my public key via finger mlang@db.debian.org | 1024D/7FC1A0854909BCCDBE6C102DDFFC022A6B113E44 _______________________________________________ Blinux-list@redhat.com https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list _______________________________________________ Blinux-list@redhat.com https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list
