I used to use PINE for all my mail, and I also used procmail for years. I'm a bit worried at the thought of procmail delivering to PINE folders while PINE is active. PINE alone is probably good enough for most people. One of its abilities it to transfer mail to your "read-mail" folder as you read mail.
