I was trying to install Debian Linux on the 14GB HD of my Windows 98SE, (14 GB drive C), and got pulled into other projects. I can not remember how to install Debian Linux on Drive D while preserving Windows98 SE on drive C. I saved the following in the C:\Linux. I have a DECTalk Express, (bought in July 1995), on COM1. I have the following in a DOS batch file. cd linux c:\dosutils\loadlin linux speakup_synth=dectlk root=/dev/ram initrd=linux/images-1.44\root.bin disksize=1.44 flavor=idepci I created a root disk and a rescue disk using root.bin and rescue.bin from C:\Linuxx\images-1.44\idepci with rawwritewin.
