USPS and web browsers.

www.usps.com is the main url.
With lynx, you can choose the category "buy stamps"
http://www.usps.com/common/category/buystamps.htm
but as soon as you hit the "buy stamps" link in the next screen, leading to
http://www.usps.com/shop
you get a redirect screen with 0 refresh and one link and when you hit enter on
that you get the message about Ie and Netscape and enabling javascript in your
browser.

With links (with an I) you can actually get the stamps in your cart but then you
can't check out.

As to what purpose the javascript serves, I don't know; Ray stated from the
beginning that javascript was required. that's one of the reasons I was hoping
somebody on list with more expertise could look at the site and email him.
whatever I might say about the javascript would be repeating what I hear on this
list and I would be unable to give him concrete details about the coding or the
concerns re: javascript.
By the way, he isn't actually doing the work on the website from what I
understand but passes information and concerns on to the people or person doing
the work. However, he seems very conscientious about doing this and sent me
several interim emails telling me that they were working on the problem.
