Yeah too bad I couldn't get flite and eflite to compile because there is
some error or other in the eflite code that prevents it from working with
alsa. I also found that eflite doesn't work with emacspeak either because it
stops speaking the second emacspeak tries to use a different voice though.
Other than that the flite speech is nice and stable though I wish that i
could get it to work with emacspeak so that i could use it for irc and stuff
like that.
