Please find below a brief summary of the progress Collabora has made last week.

- SPEC-4776 (Add grpc-server by
default in agl-demo-platform) - while we're building the
grpc-proxy (agl-shell-grpc-server) we don't actually start it.
This adds it to the no-activate/landscape-no-activate ini
configuration file. Together with agl-shell-activator this
allows users to test out the grpc-proxy. For octopus we only
have activation and output display in a human readale form,
while master contains the latest changes (set_app_float,
set_app_fullscreen, set_app_output) to further manipulate
windows dynamically.
- SPEC-4673 (Provide
implementation for the stubs in gRPC proto implementation) -
Further enhanced set_app_output request to allow migration and
movement of windows back-and-forth between outputs. Found some
additional issues (SPEC-4773) which have been cherry-picked to
octopus. They don't really have an impact unless you're using
the agl-shell-desktop protocol, which will be deprecated in the
next release.
- SPEC-4773 (Window
placement/movement to another window doesn't resize properly) -
resizing issue while migrated application window between
outputs.
- SPEC-4772 (agl-compositor
crashing in KVM demo) - some initial discussions; requires
additional debugging & investigation.
