The qemuriscv64 machine configuration is very simple in meta-agl and
doesn't touch anything with respect to opensbi that I can see. For the
configuration used, take a look at:

meta-agl/templates/machine/qemuriscv64/50_local.conf.inc

and the include file it pulls in:

meta-agl/meta-agl-bsp/conf/include/agl_qemuriscv64.inc

Since the machine template was contributed by someone from the community
and is not something we've been testing, you're pretty much going to have
to debug this yourself, I think. It might be better if you started with
a smaller image like agl-image-minimal and not agl-demo-platform, as the
full demo image builds graphical applications that I suspect have no
chance of working in QEMU's RISC-V emulation as it stands today.
