Please find below a brief summary of the progress Collabora has made last week.
Weston/Wayland
Marius:
- SPEC-3836: Decided in the last dev call to just update agl-compositor documentation to describe the issue and provide some examples for udev rules. Added a MR for it.
- Looking into some build failures with the cross SDK for the compositor -- seems missing waltham support into the SDK. While at it might be useful to compile the headless back-end conditionally.
Application Framework
Arnaud:
- Investigating if and how we could port existing demo applications to get rid of the current App FW, starting with the navigation app
Pipewire
George:
- Submitted wireplumber configuration changes (gerrit 26662)
- Submitted documentation about the IC sound manager project design (gerrit 26663)
- Fixed a CI issue in pipewire upstream (https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/merge_requests/950)
