Collabora weekly progress w/e 10th January 2021

Please find below a brief summary of the progress Collabora have made last week on Weston/Wayland and Pipewire.

- SPEC-3752 (Screenshooting functionality into CI): expanded homescreen to allow loading other QMLs to simplify the screenshooting phase (no changes to time/weather that would match the reference image). Patch for compositor to tune if application started should modify the activate (background) surface, by default. The demo platform has default applications starting (like launcher), which would modify the background installed by homescreen. So, in the CI environment, with these tweaks enabled, we should be able to take a screenshot of homescreen and compare with the reference image. A simple script was posted as an example.

- Improvements on WirePlumber's lua-scripted policy

- Fixing design issues in WirePlumber's spa type wrapper system
