The way to issue reboot command from service code

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello dear AGL experts,

Could you please clarify what is the correct official way to issue reboot command from service code?

I have tried reboot(RB_AUTOBOOT), which doesn't work because services are run under agl-driver account, which is not root.

I also tried system("systemctl reboot"), still no luck. Maybe I missed to request some permissions in config.xml, right now permissions section looks like:

<feature name="urn:AGL:widget:required-permission">
<param name="urn:AGL:permission::public:hidden" value="required" />
<param name="urn:AGL:permission::public:no-htdocs" value="required" />
<param name="urn:AGL:permission::system:run-by-default" value="required" />
</feature>

I consider sending reboot command to Dbus directly, but suppose that AGL should have some internal means for rebooting.

Could you please point me on some documentation or give any other clue on this topic?

BRs,

Denis.
