Hi Ergen,

Sorry, I wasn't available last few weeks. You might be figured it out by yourself and what you suggests is almost right. The only thing that could be problematic would be to mock the "/dev/..." part using the test monitoring tools alone. Theses tools does not allow you to mock this, you have to find something else additionally to the test monitoring tools.

The scenario you suggests is fine to me, however I would add additional steps, by testing isolated low services also, ensuring that AFB_EVENT are as what you expect and then wire up to the signal composer :) If your bottom up approach include this, then it's perfect.

Best regards.

Hello Romain,
I saw your name at following link.

https://iot.bzh/fr/publications/32-2018/84-moving-agl-toward-production-with-the-latest-test-monitoring-tools

I work on a project. This project based on AGL. I am at test side of software team. Actually, I write integration tests. But I need to advice about integration testing. How should I proceed? AGL Wiki is very poor about integration testing. I need more. I want to explain more.
I want to test services behaviour together. For example according to the following chart I want to test AGL Signal Composer with Low Services. "Application #1" and "/dev/..." parts mocked case. I will subscribe to AGL Signal Composer from Application #1 and  I will subscribe to Low Services from AGL Signal Composer. I will check the results. True or false. And I will add rest of software modules.  Finally I will complete integration testing. (with bottom up approaches) This is meaning for me integration testing. Do you think my approach is correct?
Do you want to recommend anything about this?
