Hello Chris, there was at least 2 demos of an HTML homescreen: LG and Forgerock made one, both presented at CES 2018. Two different technologies were used: LG used a modified version of its WebOs OSE and Forgerock used the available QtWebEngine. Both demo demonstrated that AGL services are accessible from javascript. Igalia is working on the solution proposed by LG, that is what pointed Lorenzo, because it is free of Qt licensing and because it includes preloading of applications.
