QtVirtualKeyboard - input method is not set

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

I am trying to get QtVirtualKeyboard to work in Guppy 7.0.1 and am running into “input method is not set”. https://jira.automotivelinux.org/browse/SPEC-1120 describes the same issue with 2 possible workarounds: Manually set focus using LayerManagerControl, or comment out ivi-input-module line in weston.ini. Unfortunately, neither of these workarounds solve the issue with Guppy 7.0.1.

Does anyone know why the input method is not set? Any suggestions on how to get QtVirtualKeyboard to work, or how to debug this issue further, will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

Adam
