I'm busy setting up a Server
It's got 1 x 20Gig HDD for the OS and 7 x 200gig's for the data.
I'm using RedHat 9.0
The board supports RAID 0 1 but I want to let the raid controller act as a
normal ide ...
How am I going to do this?
SOFTWARE RAID
<I'm setting up RAID 5>
Here's what I have.
Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-8PENXP
Harddisks : 1 x 20Gig
7 x 200Gig
OS : RedHat 9.0
Chipset for IDE RAID : ITE IT8212
Please Help
I have Googled .... so the list was the next in line
