Thanks for your guide. I would've tried it if I had a spare machine with a
Promise RAID on it :)


A question if I may:

If I understood correctly, at this stage there is no ATA RAID driver
loaded - not the Promise one nor the native one. So how can I define a "raid
array of my taste" if there is no RAID module loaded?
