Re: Promise Fasttrak problems

I'm running RAID 0/1 on the same controller (A7V333 with PDC20276
onboard) with no problems at all (kernel 2.4.20). The two master disks
are RAID0 (160Gb) and the slave ones are RAID 1 (40Gb).
The only problems I've had was with 2.4.20-ac1 - it didn't recognize the
RAID - but now all goes well because I switched back to the vanilla
2.4.20.
The big deal for me is speed; in my Linux box RAID0 is glued to 2Mb/sec
although Windoze can do as much as 76Mb/sec !!! grrrrrrr....

# 2.4.19/2.4.20 apparently changed how

# works. I disabled the 'Fasttrak special feature' and am running
# 2.4.20-ac1 without issues.
