Thanks, I've already tried it. Nothing helps. I switched to FreeBSD - installed is less than an hour, recognized RAID immediately, configured internet connection automatically, works perfectly. I wonder why I wasted three days trying to make Linux work properly with its buggy raid, dhcp and gcc.
