    I have an ABIT KG7-RAID mobo with an onboard hpt370/372 Raid controller.

    I'd installed debian 3.0 in my two-disks raid 0 array using current bf2.4 disks , but it crashed two days ago (two days after installation). It was unable to mount native partition / at startup and i can't mount it manually.

    So that, I've reinstalled it and it has functioned for two hours and one reboot but after rebooting another time start the problems. It appears to be allright but  when i'm working  appears that messagge in the middle of the screen :

        hdg: dma_intr : status= 0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }

        hdg: dma_intr : error=0x84  { DriveStatusError BadCRC }

    Later this, the system is yet alive, but the problem appears if i am working with any file. Last time, I was working with my shadow file and now

                    !!!!!!!!!!!!!   I CAN'T  ENTER WITH THE ROOT PASS ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

      Yeah, It says me "Login incorrect" and i'm sure the pass is correct. Mi system functions but i cant do anything with it (i hadn't installed many things yet).

    I'm disposed to reinstall Linux for the third time during a week (Before that week , I thought i wouldn't be able to install it. By this way, i'll be an expert soon) , but i need someone to explain me any way to work without surprises.
