You should be able to install debian-woody (3.0, the actaul stable distro from, debian) with the b2-2.4 boot-discs. I have not tested vit a HPT-RAID controller, but it worked without problems for me with a promise controller and the support for the HPT-Raid is also included... just be carefull that you use a current version of the bf-2.4 bootdiscs... mfg Albert Dengg
