Hi All,
I have a HPT370/372 RAID controller and i want to
install RedHat Linux 7.2 on my system. I selected
RAID 1 in HPT-BIOS setup screen.
I started up the installation and by typing "expert
text" i went to Driver Disk menu. RedHat installation
installed my HPT370/372 driver from floppy which i
downloaded from their website. Next i chose Disk Druid
and that shows my hard disks as follows:

  /dev/hda # Primary Channel - Master
    /dev/hda1 # / Partition
    /dev/hda2 # Swap partition
/dev/hde # First hard disk which is part of
                   RAID 1 configuration
/dev/hdg # Second hard disk which is part of
                   RAID 1 configuration
  /dev/sda # SCSI emulation of RAID 1

Now i created partion on /dev/hde and selected mount
point as /usr. I selected Grub. When i continue with
installation my hard disk gets formatted. I chose
ext3.

  But..........

My installation stops. I get folowing errors :

(4)ide-dmaproc : chipset supported ide_dma_timeout
                 func only: 14
hde: lost interrupt
hde: lost interrupt
hde: lost interrupt
....
....
....
....

I get same error continuosly. I tried with LILO too.
Is any problem with my Motherboard or RAID card??? Can
anyone plz tell me my fault. Any help really
appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Rajesh
