Heya,

I've got one of these cards as well and found that it is more efficient to use 
the Linux software raid support instead of the highpoint driver or even the 
ataraid driver)   As long as you don't have Windoze installed as well (and want 
it on a Raid) then use the Linux md stuff... it's faster and much easier to 
install, maintain etc....
