You'll need to use the basic > Promise driver in the kernel, or Promise's binary driver for those. Still no joy. However I create the arrays in the BIOS doesn't seem to affect any problem. When I load the pdcraid module I always get <7>Promise Fasttrak(tm) Softwareraid driver 0.03beta: No raid array found I also have the curious message "PDC20267: neither IDE port enabled (BIOS)" that I can't seem to resolve. Are these controler supposed to act like normal IDE if no RAID arrays are defined? Again, syslog at http://anduril.pams.ncsu.edu/~slack/pdc20267/syslog Thanks!
