OK, I remembered what worked for me: Try changing the connection of the
HDs on the Fasttrack; i.e. hde->hdg, hdg->hde. This shouldn't disturb
Windows and it mysteriously made the errors go away when running linux. I
have absolutely no idea why, but it worked.
Also, make sure the HDs are connected to the _end_ of their respective
cables.
Oh, and one more thing: My FastTrack is built into the MB. The
documentation in the handbook describes a different jumper setting to
enable RAID0 than what is printed on the MB itself. I found the setting
on the MB to be correct.

When I try switching the cables, I'm unable to load the pdcraid.o module. It just hangs and /proc/lsmod states that it's still trying to initialize. This would happen sometimes before I switched the cables around, but now it happens every time.
