hi!
following problem: i have installed Linux on a
ATA-Raid partition, d0p9; i have got a bootpartition, d0p1; lilo means its not
the first disk in my system, but it installes. on booting it stops at "LI" ... i
had that also several times as my harddisk was hdc or hdd, so i know why Lilo
hangs up.
now im searching a bootmanager which is able to
boot my linuxsystem. loadlin starts correctly, but system stops with kernel
panic, it cant mount the root filesystem although i have typed in correctly as
"/dev/ataraid/d0p9"; also grub stops on this position.
please help me!
