Well, Ataraid in my opinion is more compatible, the
old style Raid support under Linux is outdated and not
compatible with any other OS.

If u have a card like Promise or HighPoint and u can
also use it under Windows and many other OS, why do u
want to use old, proprietary Linux Raid?
