Hi all, I would like to create an array for mirroring 2 40 gb disks with my gigabyte 7dxr motherboard with the promise fasttrack 100 lite chip but I think it will not work as actually I am using 1 of those disks with lvm volumes... I tryed creating an array but when linux reboots no more volume groups are found (I think because of the partition name changes from /dev/hde1 to /dev/ataraid/d0/d0pxxx). Furthermore I'm using reiserfs on all LVMs, and I read it's not compatible with software raid.. kernel is 2.4.17 I am a bit confused, can you help me please ? Regards, Michele
