Sheesh - every time someone asks this question on this list, he/she
gets spammed with answers that only correct them about the difference
between a "true" h/w raid and the ata-raid cards that do it in the
drivers...

Let's just recognize that people are always going to be a little
confused about that and just answer the dude's question already.

What he really wants to know is, what is the status of support for
these cards in RAID1 under Linux?  Does anyone know *that*?  :)
