Hi,
I installed a minimal system(kernel 2.4.16) on a promise 20265 RAID 0 array
of 2 disks, from a 3rd disk where I installed RH7.2 with the 2.4.16 kernel.
I booted the kernel from GRUB 0.90 but when the it is initializing I got at
the end thatVFS cannot mount my ataraid/d0p2 as root filesystem because it
cannot open it. I checked my dev dir, it's fine. My kernel works because I
use it with RH7.2
Any idea ?

Moreover, I did a bonnie++ on the raid 0 array and my single drive... I got
awful results for the RAID 0 array(2 seagate 80GB udma 100) ... slower that
my single drive(fudjitsu 4BG udma 33)
Doh ! Is that normal ?

Sylvain
