Fasttrak 100 controler (raid-1 setup)

Hi all,

I've been trying to get the fasttrak 100 Raid controller to work with my
debian system (not that the distribution would mether(?))...

The card is detected and the /dev/hde and /dev/hdg are created but i can't
boot from them.. Probably because it would not be /dev/hde and /dev/hdg
because of the raid-1 setup... (It would become 1 disk if i'm correct).

The problem is that i've tryed to compile the kernel but i can't 'find'
the option 'Support Promise software RAID (Fasttrak(tm))' in my kernel. I
know the option would be there (by viewing drivers/ide/Config.in).

How can i get this thing compiled in my kernel?
are there any other things i can do wrong?
has anybody done this before?

Thx in advance,

With kind regards,
	Ruben d'Arco
