Hi,
I use 2.4.12-ac5 and it works fine with the Highpoint and the Promise
hardware. When you have only the Promise controller and start the grub boot shell,
you should only see (hd0,*). I think you have to reinstall your system with
the new driver, because you wrote your data with the old closed source driver.
When I tried the same, I could see the partitions but I couldn't see the
data on it.
