I tried chan_ss7 year ago, and its continuity check support has been even worse than in libss7, it was not able to receive call with continuity check requested (libss7 can). But you don't need to send continuity checks for proper operation. You must answer continuity requests properly, but if you don't send your requests, it won't break anything. Your peer probably only wanted to point you to function/tool, what could help you to resolve your problem. M.R.
