libss7 - two linksets with different DPCs but the same CIC Number

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

Moving the sighan definition at the end of the config is not working. However I found the working config using only one linkset. Despite slc=0 is configured twice, it's working. Using slc=1 before sigchan=32 the second adjpointcode is not coming up and receive the following error:

chan_dahdi.c:13672 dahdi_ss7_error: [1] Received message for slc 0x0, but we are 0x1. Dropping

I still have to check if changeover is working when one dpc goes down.This the working config:

[trunkgroups]

[channels]
anguage=en
context=from-pstn
signalling=ss7
group=1
ss7type = itu
ss7_called_nai=national
ss7_calling_nai=national
linkset = 1
pointcode = 2162
adjpointcode = 2
defaultdpc = 140
networkindicator=national
cicbeginswith = 2
channel = 2-31
slc=0
sigchan = 1

language=en
context=from-pstn
signalling=ss7
group=2
ss7type = itu
ss7_called_nai=national
ss7_calling_nai=national
linkset = 1
pointcode = 2162
adjpointcode = 18
defaultdpc = 150
networkindicator=national
cicbeginswith = 2
channel = 33-62
slc=0
sigchan = 32
sls_shift = 3

Thank you very much for the help.

Regards,
Lucian

Hmm, you have the range defined, but probably Gregory Massel is right and this is a combined linkset, so you got the GRS on sigchan 1 not 32 In such case you should comment out the lines:

;linkset = 2
;networkindicator=national
;context=from-pstn

and move both sigchan definitions at the end of the config. You may also need to define slc for each them:

slc=0
sigchan = 1
slc=1
sigchan = 32
