I have now added an updated snd package to [community-testing], which supports both extension languages by providing two executables (snd-s7 and snd-ruby), but symlinks snd-s7 to snd (so the default extension language is also the default when just calling snd). Using a split package for this turned out too messy. Please check whether this works for you as expected. I have removed extension language files that are not compatible with the respective snd versions, added specific and updated XDG desktop integration files, added ruby to optdepends and updated to 21.6.
