Hi, I like the JWM's panel and I like fbpanel, but they are missing a weather applet. JFTR I tested lxpanel, but already before I checked if the menu is editable, I noticed that lxpanel wakes up external green drives without a good reason [1]. xfce4-panel is nice, doesn't wake up green drives, but suffers also from a menu that isn't editable, neither is the whisker replacement. I suspect mate-panel's menu also suffers from the freedesktop.org menu issue and can't be really customized. Does somebody know a panel with weather plugin and editable menu? A system tray weather app might be ok too. Typhoon and gis-weather seems to be not what I'm looking for, perhaps I'm just to stupid to configure them.
