It's not negligible in computing terms.  It can matter but plan A
is usually for your boot time to be immaterial (because rebooting
is lame in the first place).

It's not entirely clear where these two seconds are being lost,
tho'.  It's tough to lay the blame precisely where Filipe is
placing it.
