I would like to go to DSL with a (hardware) router to have more than one PC access the Internet. The DSL that I can afford would be a dynamic address type. If I purchase a router, how can I get the address of the router to change? I do not think that any programs can be loaded into the routers. I prefer not to use a software router because I do not want multiple PCs running all of the time. It should not be a problem. I'm doing exactly the same thing. I run inadyn to do the automatic DNS update. You have to punch a hole in the router to allow port 80 traffic or whatever. I've go 5 machines on my side of the router and 3 are accessable. > Any thoughts, suggestions, ideas? > > Thanks. > > Mike > << File: ATT00266.txt >> -- Herb Stein herb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
